Packaging Rebrand

Graphic and Product Design
Project Overview
This project focuses on rebranding a common New Zealand cookie brand to make it more appealing to the New Zealand public to rival its Australian competitors which are currently leading the New Zealand market. The brand chosen was Ernest Adams.
The focus for this project was to try and make a more 'New Zealand' flavoured type of biscuit. This was done because of the macro trend that is nostalgia and the trend that is 'home made' or 'New Zealand made'. Having researched other types of brands, it can be seen that there is an increase in more New Zealand made products, or New Zealand flavours as a way to gain more popularity and interest in the brand and their products. I took this approach too with the cookie packaging rebrand by focusing on new flavours that more nostalgic or 'classics' of New Zealand, flavours such as Jaffas, Hokey pokey ice cream and L&P for example.
