University Project
Typography Design
This project focuses on the colour of CMYK and RGB, the colours of print and screen and the numbers which surround them. The entire content was researched and created by myself. The aim was to show the uniqueness of the colour models. For example how one is an additive colour model and the other subtractive colour model, how each suit a particular medium (print or screen) but not both. There is a major emphasis on numbers and how they can affect the outcome of a colour. Just a small change of a percentage or a value can make a completely different colour.
This was originally created digitally online over lockdown 2020 so it was designed as a digital book so the RGB colours would come out correctly compared to if it went to print but the hand in was to be as if it was to be printed so the colours are CMYK based which isn't as vibrant.
As part of the brief there is also an accompanying poster with the book with is based on the CMYK colours and numbers.
